This is a test post, but also a call to take control of our digital lives. I kept looking for a blogging platform, but nothing satisfied. I don't want to trust a corporation to host my thoughts. I don't want to pay a monthly fee for my voice to not disappear.
In that vein, I felt starting something by myself and hosting my own instance would be the way.
Once you realise that you are not in control, it takes difficult steps to change that. Once you do, the rewards are numerous.
